This Friday is the last Marketfest of the summer! It is put on by the West Kootenay Eco Society and will run from 6-10:30pm on Baker Street. There will be lots of local vendors, artisans, performers and good food!

Every Wednesday the West Kootenay EcoSociety holds a market on Baker St. It runs from 9am to 3pm and has a large variety of vendors from food to locally made pottery!

Canada Day festivities will be happening tomorrow at Lakeside Park! Celebrations usually begin around 10am and go until 9pm with Fireworks around 10pm. The full schedule should be out today or early tomorrow morning on the Nelson Star website.
