Follow Kokanee Creek to Kootenay Lake and stop in at Nelson Paddleboard and Kayak Rentals for a leisurely paddle on the lake. Located just below the heart of Nelson, it’s an easy way to enjoy the lake with a little bit of human power.

Lake paddling a little too mellow for the adrenaline seeker in you? Hop in a raft with Nelson Whitewater Rafting Co. and explore class 2- 3 rapids on the Slocan River Facchina Rapids tour. Experienced guides take you for a wild ride down one of the most pristine rivers in this corner of paradise. Safety first and fun second, this is a no brainer summer activity to beat the heat and enjoy a few laughs with our first class team.
